Everyone together now...."awwwww". We know, he looked pitiful, but doesn't it just make you want to hug him forever? That is how we feel too:)
Daddy must have been sharing some good secrets.
Being a rock star really takes it out of you:)

First real bath! He obviously loves it.
Funny hospital story: We have been waiting on Asher's umbilical cord stump to fall off so that we could finally give him a "real bath". Well, the 1st morning in the hospital the dynamic duo a.k.a. the two junior IU nursing students who were super pumped about their clinical rotation and had trouble controlling the volume of their voices (every time they would come in, I would tell them that Asher was snoozing trying to hint to be quiet...they would still talk like we were on opposite ends of a stadium trying to have a conversation at the Super Bowl). Let's just say, they were perky, and they were loud...and maybe a little green. I only say this for 2 reasons. #1 they tried to measure the circumference of Asher's head over the huge IV sticking out of his head not to mention the 5 pounds of tape holding the IV down. They came in 2 hours later to do it again and his head circumference was 3 cm smaller than earlier that day....We know hospitals take it out of you, but we are pretty sure your head shouldn't shrink 3 cm in 2 hours. #2 Upon unwrapping his cute little swaddle blanket, part 1 of the dynamic due says...and I quote...."Is this "plug" supposed to be here?" Mark investigated to find Asher's umbilical cord stump had fallen off and was resting on the side of his belly. So, no....junior IU girl...that "plug" was not supposed to be there...that is why it fell off. I guess we all have to start somewhere!
