Wait just a minute...

You might be thinking to yourself...Did I read that blog title wrong? Is that a typo? The answer is NO! We are officially Thompson, Party of 4 these days! Asher is going to be a big brother! To say that we are excited might be the understatement of the century. Allyson is about 12 1/2 weeks along and feeling great. The baby is due on March 16, but will be delivered via C-section sometime the week before. We do not know if it is a boy or a girl, but will definitely find out if the baby cooperates at the next ultrasound. That date is not scheduled yet, but we are guessing sometime in late October. Allyson looks about the same these days, but we will start posting belly shots on Friday's. In the mean time, enjoy an oldy-but-a-goody of Asher. This kid cracks us up!

We are BACK!

We have been going, going, going this summer and its about to get a whole lot crazier! One of our daily activities is taking a nice long morning walk. Asher is a FAN!




I went on a weekend get-a-way with my favorite girls from college. We had fun sitting by the pool, eating, Targeting, and of course having a double baby shower for Zoe and Thatcher! For some reason we have babies in two's...strange:)

We have had so much packed into the month of June...can't wait to see what July brings!

FYI: We are researching some other blog options. This one seems to be getting a little slow and doesn't have all the options that we would like. If we decide to try something new it will be in the next month or so. We will keep you updated if we decide to move:)

Race for the Cure 2011

This coming June 21st we will celebrate my mom's 9 year cancer free anniversary! Whoohoo! Every year to celebrate, we try to run as a family in the "Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure" in Columbus, Ohio. We haven't all been together in the race for a couple of years, but it was so fun to do it together as a family this year. Asher even raced this year...t-shirt and all! It was a perfect morning for running. Sunny and 65. Here are some pictures of the race. First up is the pre-race family shot. As you can see, we are still clean and sweat-free at this point:)



Our New Yorkers were in for the weekend, so Aunt Jane needed a picture with them!

Retired...almost.

My Aunt Sally and some other teachers that my mom works with had a retirement party for my mom on Friday night. It was a great night honoring my mom's 35 years of teaching. As of May 31st she will officially be a retired woman. Thanks for the great party, Sally!
