Many Firsts

As young as Asher still is, he is still experiencing 'firsts' almost every day. Here are a few of the recent developments...

First trip to Georgia...

First trip to Lake Winnepesaukah. For those who have not experienced Lake Winnepesaukah, you have not lived! This over-sized carnival (advertised as an amusement park) is one of Rossville, GA's best kept secrets. It's gigantor fish, buggy cars, and world-famous cannon ball roller coaster (ok, maybe county-famous) are quite a treat.First dip in a pool...First time to a zoo. Mark was thoroughly impressed with Chattanooga's zoo. The zoo, formerly known as Warner Park Zoo, has come a long way from it's days of just monkeys and birds.First time sitting up in his bumbo chair (without assistance from mom and dad). Dad is a little jealous of his chair. And finally...his first teeth. Look real close and you'll see two beauties poking through.Loving every first!

Just outfits... yeah right.

I have been putting off going through Asher's closet because I am a little emotionally attached to those cute little outfits that don't fit him anymore. However, today I was feeling ambitious so I started the job. As I pulled the clothes off of the hanger, I found myself stewing over these little clothes that were supposed to be "just outfits"...yeah right. As I started folding, I have to admit I found a little lump in my throat remembering my little man in these clothes...so I thought I would share some memories.

First we have this little brown outfit that Asher wore about every 3 days until his little legs were too long for it. It was just so comfy and warm and made me want to snuggle him!

And here he is...

Next we have this red shirt that he wore on Valentine's Day.

And here he is...

This is a brown striped outfit that Asher used to swim in, then suddenly one day he couldn't stretch his legs all the way out in it...

And here he is...

His first Sunday at church was a cold one! I bundled him up in this adorable outfit.

And here he is...

I loved this little Easter outfit that he wore it to church about every other week for a while...

And here he is...

Another day we will never forget...Asher's dedication outfit.

And here he is...

Going home from the hospital! I will never forget this little look.

And here he is...

Can't wait for the next batch of memories...and all of the shopping that I need to do now! (Just kidding, Mark)
Love,
Allyson
